Known for her ability to bridge clinical, operational and commercial priorities, she has built a reputation as a visionary leader who transforms complex challenges into scalable growth opportunities. Throughout her career, Erin has been recognized for her strategic thinking, relationship-building expertise, and ability to lead organizations through periods of rapid expansion, market disruption, and operational transformation.
At Talkspace, Boyd leads payer strategy, business development and strategic healthcare partnerships. During her tenure, she has helped grow B2B revenue by more than 450%, expand covered lives by 150%, and improve margins through innovative contracting and reimbursement strategies. She played a pivotal role in launching national Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs, advancing large-scale public mental health initiatives, and driving the company’s path to profitability and acquisition.
Prior to Talkspace, Erin held leadership roles at Cigna, where she helped shape behavioral health network and digital product strategy, pioneered reimbursement models for non-traditional behavioral health services and served as a key thought leader in behavioral healthcare innovation. Earlier in her career, Boyd led business development and marketing efforts for a preeminent psychiatric hospital system. She also founded and operated her own healthcare marketing and communications consulting firm, advising public and private healthcare and technology companies on branding, strategic communications, and market expansion.
Erin earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications from Oklahoma State University and continues to be recognized as a forward-thinking leader shaping the future of behavioral healthcare delivery and access.
