Chief People Officer
Andrea Cooper is a seasoned human resources executive who has dedicated over 25 years to improving employee experiences and fostering strategic business partnerships. She currently serves as Chief People Officer for Talkspace, a leading online and mobile therapy company whose mission is “therapy for all”.
Her extensive experience includes key HR leadership roles at global organizations like Walmart (Nasdaq: WMT) and Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN). Through these roles, Andrea developed expertise across global HR, learning and development, people operations, labor relations, and diversity & inclusion. She also utilized her strategic and innovative HR skills while running her own consulting practice, Flourish.
Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from John Brown University. She has achieved a Senior Human Resources Management certification from HRCI and a CHRO certification through the Wharton Executive Education program. Committed to community involvement, she serves on the Girl Scout Badgerland Board and is a lifetime Girl Scout member. Andrea and her wife, with their three children, have made their home in Madison, WI for more than 10 years.
