A note from Shannon

I take a very person-centered and trauma-focused approach to my practice. I have worked with all age groups and have a focus on addictions, trauma, attachment disorders, as well as anxiety and depression. I am very comfortable treating addictive disorders, trauma, personality disorders, and attachment disorders. I began my career as a case worker and quickly realized that I would like to take a more personal approach to how I assist clients in gaining a sense of control in their lives. I have been in therapy myself and realize the importance of having a safe space to heal.
