I am a licensed therapist and have been practicing for over 22 years. I am also retired from the US Army and the VA. Currently, the focus of my work is around trauma issues including developmental trauma which shows up in anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I am a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This is a research based therapy that is effective for "Big T" trauma experienced by victims of violence or "Little T" developmental trauma such as the pervasive and destructive effects of not being valued, respected, or loved for any reason as a child.
