A note from Melody
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I have transitioned to a multifaceted approach incorporating a Psychodynamic modality with EMDR, Performance Psychology, and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy (HCH). We identify core feelings, overcome limiting beliefs, interrupt unhealthy behavioral patterns, and increase self-awareness by discovering, leaning in, and moving through the emotions. How our body feels impacts our emotions. Because trauma is fundamentally a manifestation of nervous system dysregulation, it becomes an existential mandate to disrupt the trauma response.
