Therapy may be a new experience. I am a guide to help the client establish goals. Therapy can be challenging before results are apparent. I use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to try to alter thoughts to bring about change in one's behavior/life. I use a Person-Centered approach to create a safe therapy experience in which positive growth occurs.
