I completed my master's in clinical mental health counseling while advocating for crime victims at a nonprofit organization I founded in 2008, Mothers On a Mission to Stop Violence (MOMSV). While at MOMSV I authored three laws that passed unanimously in Illinois, strengthening and protecting crime victims' rights. After graduation, I gained employment at DuPage County Health Department as a behavioral health therapist for 5 years specializing in suicidal ideations, crisis stabilization, anger management, addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety. In 2024, I started a Telehealth practice as a licensed therapist.
