A note from Catherine
I enjoy helping clients imagine greater self-acceptance and a better quality of life. I feel passionate about supporting them in taking life-affirming steps toward change and meet them exactly where they are at by creating a space where they get to explore who they are and who they’d like to become. Best described as Cognitive Therapy with an Emotion-Focused approach, I draw on techniques from CBT, Narrative Therapy, trauma-informed psychoeducation, Mindful Self-Compassion and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I share bibliotherapeutic recommendations and specific resources to enhance the therapy process.
