A note from Amanda
Hello and welcome! I have been practicing as a social worker for twenty years. I started out earning my bachelor's in elementary education at West Chester University. I taught for a year in a school district that introduced me to the social work profession. I learned that I wanted to help individuals in a way that was not academic. My experience inspired me to earn my master's in social work at Bryn Mawr College. I feel passionate about helping children and adults cope with trauma and adversity through developing a trusting relationship, by processing events, and by identifying positive coping strategies.
