My path to mental health work wasn’t linear, but it became clear that this field aligned with my belief that everyone deserves support when life feels overwhelming. Witnessing the resilience and courage of people facing their toughest challenges has been profoundly inspiring. Being able to walk beside someone in those moments like holding a lantern as they find their way out of the woods feels meaningful in a way nothing else does.
